Hairpin Coffee was born from our desire to roast high quality, great tasting coffee that anyone can pick up and enjoy however they brew it.
We believe coffee is an intentional process. Whether roasting, tasting, or brewing coffee, it all takes time. This allows us to pay attention to what we are doing and why we do it! All of our coffee is roasted with an intentionality that you can taste in every cup.

There are countless gifts of joy and beauty in all that God has made. Often times we need to slow down in order to see these. We all need things around us that help us slow down and remember what we love. Our hope is that Hairpin Coffee helps you do just that.
Hi, we're Aaron and Hope Schatzmann and we make up Hairpin Coffee. Finley and Cocoa are our sidekicks and the namesakes of our favorite Decaf Roast. We grew up in Burleson, TX and are proud to call this place home again!
Over the years, what was once a hobby with small beginnings grew as we upgraded roasters and began making coffee for family and friends. When the opportunity to buy a commercial size roaster presented itself in 2023, we knew this was something we couldn’t pass up! Now we get to share our dream with more friends as our business grows.
You might be wondering, why Hairpin? The Hairpin name and logo was inspired by an unlikely combo - high school prom and the mountains.
When we were in high school and went to prom together, Hope stashed away some hairpins in the side of my car door where they stayed until we got married five years later. This symbol was a reminder to slow down and remember what I loved.
Mountains have always held a special place in our hearts, too. The hairpin bends paint a picture that reminds us of life, a mixture of the beauty and wonder that waits around the corner when we slow down to take the next turn.
These switchbacks in the mountains as well as Hope’s hairpins, remind us of the twists and turns we all experience. Our hope is that in the midst of your own hairpin bends, you are able to slow down and be reminded of all the things you love that make this life wonderful.
